Home Sustainability New Work Style Initiatives

INTRODUCTION OF WORK FROM HOME

We have adopted work from home as a new style of working, with the objective of improving work efficiency and productivity while also accounting for the work-life balance of our range of employees. Working from home is also a measure in our business continuity plan (BCP) in the event of an emergency.

Measures to establish work from home

  • Establishment
    of work-from-home rules

  • Payment of work-from-home
    support allowance

  • Enhancement
    of internal systems

  • Establishment of a work-from-home environment
    (loan of PCs, monitors, etc.)

  • Enhancement of online communication
    such as web conferencing

  • Establishment of information sharing systems,
    including video and audio

  • Promotion of paperless work and abolition of personal seals

Implementation of measures and adoption of systems that enable flexibility across wide-ranging work styles.

Promotion of operational efficiency

We are engaged in efforts to shorten work hours to improve productivity by reviewing business processes, including RPA.

We have established a system to enable employees to change their work times.
We are promoting ways of working that suit the lifestyles of each individual employee.

Promotion of paid leave

Support for a working environment with a good work-life balance by encouraging workers to take paid leave.

SUPPORT FOR FAMILY AND WORK BALANCE FOR PEOPLE RAISING CHILDREN

Enhanced maternity and childcare support systems

We are seeking to upgrade our systems to provide support for childbirth and childcare, including a system for maternity and school entrance gifts, temporary part-time work systems, special spousal leave, maternity and childcare leave, and nursing care leave.
We are enhancing our support systems to allow women to stay in work during the pregnancy and maternity, and provide proactive support to balance work and family life.
